One Church, Three Names

One congregation at one address goes by three names, and it helps to know which is which before you try to match a record against this website.

  • Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun

The legal name, and the one on our IRS and TechSoup records. Contribution statements are issued in this name — see how giving works.

  • The Vine Baptist Church

Our registered doing-business-as name, filed with Solano County as a fictitious business name. You may see it on paperwork, on our calendar feed, or alongside our social accounts.

  • The Vine

The name our congregation worships under, and the one you will see across this website, on our signs, and across our social media.

All three refer to the same single congregation and the same single legal entity — one address, one set of books, one EIN. Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun has served this community from 600 Gregory Ln since long before the name changed, and it owns and operates this website and receives and receipts every contribution made through it.

Our Mission

Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ throughout Solano County and beyond. Everything we do points toward one mission: helping people know Jesus, grow in His Word, and faithfully follow Him.

We are a congregation of baptized believers associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel, and we believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. You can read what we believe in full on our about page, and meet the pastors and deacons who lead us on our team page.

What We Do

Our work is carried out through free, open-to-the-public gatherings at 600 Gregory Ln in Fairfield, and through outreach across the city. Nothing below requires membership, a reservation, or a payment to attend — if you would like to come, you can plan a visit.

  • Sunday WorshipSundays at 11:00am

Our whole church family gathers for worship and Bible-centered preaching. Every message is recorded and published free of charge, and many are written up as full sermon recaps.

  • Abide GroupsWednesdays at 6:30pm & Sunday mornings

Adults gather in smaller groups to open God’s Word, pray together, and build friendships that go deeper than Sunday.

  • Branches KidsSundays & Wednesday nights

Children experience age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, and games in a safe, supervised environment while parents worship.

  • Alive YouthSundays & Wednesday nights

Middle and high school students gather for worship, biblical teaching, games, and time to build real friendships with students walking the same road of faith.

  • Table NightsMonthly

Young adults share a meal around the table — good food, honest conversation, and friendships built on faith.

  • Thrive NightsEvery few months

An evening set apart for young adults to step out of the normal pace of life for worship and renewal.

  • Baptism, membership, and servingOngoing

We walk people through baptism, into membership, and into volunteer service in the church and the community. These are our next steps.

  • Community outreachThroughout the year

Beyond our own walls we keep an adopted stretch of West Texas Street clear of litter, pack food for neighbors living unhoused, run a free photo booth at the city’s Tomato & Vine Festival, and host a free Trunk or Treat — all of it on our community outreach page.

  • Community gatheringsThroughout the year

Meals, luncheons, and open-door events that anyone in Fairfield, Suisun City, Vacaville, or Cordelia is welcome at. What is coming up is always listed on our events page.

How We Are Funded

Our ministries are sustained entirely by the voluntary, tax-deductible generosity of our church family and friends. Contributions are received and receipted by Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Giving statements are issued in that registered legal name.

We charge no admission to any service or ministry. Occasionally an optional event has a cost that covers materials or food; that is disclosed on the event itself. You can read how giving works, and give, on our giving page.

Verifying Our Status

If you are verifying our nonprofit status with the IRS, TechSoup, Google for Nonprofits, a grant program, or a donor-advised fund, search for Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun or EIN 23-7295472. Records filed under The Vine Baptist Church or The Vine refer to the same organization.

Questions about our status or documentation are welcome — just ask, email info@thevine.life, or call (707) 422-7037.
